we are proud to offer solar charge controllers from this world-leading supplier. Innovative design from years of dedicated research and superior build quality enable these top-of-the-range solar charge controllers to extend battery capacity and life, maximise energy production, and consistently achieve high performance standards.
This high quality Morningstar TriStarTM MPPT 30A solar charge controller is suitable for 12V, 24V, 36V or 48V battery banks. It uses TrakStar TechnologyTM, which provides the very best automatic power point tracking by sweeping the I-V curve faster than any other MPPT controller on the market, and maximising the energy harvest of the solar PV array. Setting an industry record of 99% peak efficiency and subsequently less power losses through the solar power system , this MPPT controller guarantees an excellent return on investment.
The controller is designed to protect batteries whilst charging them, providing automatic cut off to prevent over-charging and deep discharge. It comes with a full range of protection functions: overload, short circuit, high voltage, reverse polarity, high temperature, lightning and transient surges, reverse current at night.
Other key features include:
- Extremely high reliability, with a large heat sink, no cooling fans and a robust thermal design for high operating temperatures
- Better peak power point tracking, and excellent performance ratings at sunrise or during times of shading
- Incredibly high peak efficiency of 99% - a performance record in the solar industry
- Extensive communication capabilities with internet access for custom settings, data logging and remote monitoring
- Easy to install and use, with fully automatic operation, fault recovery and up to 200 days of data logging
This controller can work with sealed, gel and flooded batteries.
The maximum allowed input solar power for this controller is: 400W (12V), 800W (24V), 1200W (36V), and 1600W (48V).
The controller can also be connected to the TriStar remote meter with 30m extension cable (sold separately) to view detailed charging parameters and remotely monitor your system.
